Where others tear down, we restore

Where others tear down, we restore

We believe in preserving the stories that stand the test of time. By honouring Joseph Sunlight’s original structure
and reimagining it for today, we have saved more than 200,000 sq ft of new construction.

The greenest buildings are the ones we upgrade, not rebuild.

A bright future

Limit landfill

The construction industry is responsible for 62% of all landfill waste in the UK. By moving to Sunlight House rather than investing in a new build, you’re indirectly helping to save tonnes of waste, limit greenhouse gases, minimise ecosystem damage and reduce toxic air pollution.

Protect resources

If the global population lived like residents of the UK, we’d need 2.6 Earths in order to meet the demands. By moving to an existing building, companies who come to Sunlight House have a direct impact on the resource consumption used in construction.

The change we really need

We’re ready to bring life back to Sunlight House. We’ve focused our renovation on radically reshaping and activating the ground floor to welcome both the public and our tenants, with co-working, cafe, cultural and events spaces. Our larger office spaces are being sustainably refurbished into to Grade A, state-of-the-art offices, so this once-loved local landmark becomes a place that every freelancer, entrepreneur, start-up and professional can call home.
